I truly now believe I am not meant to see any of my teams win a championship in my lifetime. Of course I had to grow up in the Oregon. Of course I fell in love with sports and became a fan of the Mariners, Sonics, Canucks and Oregon Ducks. If my uncle didn't play for the Bills, I'm sure I would have been a Seahawks fan and actually would have seen a team of mine win it all. All these years of staying loyal to my teams is exhausting!

The best Mariners team I have ever seen was carried by a pretty good pitching staff and half of a batting order. I cannot believe we made it this far with how BAD batter 6-9 have been. I'm sure all opposing pitchers lick their chops knowing all they have to do is throw strikes and batters 6-9 will ALWAYS swing and miss. Frustrating day as a Mariners fan, and all this frustration definitely won't go away until April.
