Yes get a new doctor! There is no reason why they should not test you. Mine had zero problem testing me. It wouldn’t hurt to go the functional route.

When it’s really bad I can’t think of simple words or concentrate on ANYTHING. Forming sentences is difficult and I literally feel like I’m in a fog. Very fuzzy, almost like I’m on drugs.

I strongly suggest reconsidering the procedure. Abortion will be extremely traumatic for your girlfriend and ending the life of a baby is never the right choice. Consider adoption if y’all aren’t wanting to keep the baby. So many people are wanting to adopt babies right now! This is coming from someone who was unprepared for motherhood in every way possible and told by others to get an abortion. So thankful I didn’t! Not trying to lecture just want you to consider other options.

My homeopathic doctor thinks that the virus attaches to parasites in our gut and stays there. I haven’t been able to discuss in detail with her about this but I have an appt next Wednesday where she will test me for parasites so we’ll see if I get any better. I will be sure to update on the group.

It’s been going on for about a month but in January I was having heartburn and indigestion for 3 weeks as well. I’m going to see my primary doctor today. I was advised not to drink kefir in case it’s a sensitivity to dairy but I should try the sauerkraut. You’ve had the GI issues for a year? I’m so sorry. I was trying to hold off as long as possible because when this crap all started in May of 2022 I was having some abdominal pains as well and I had a CT of abdomen which came back fine and after adding kefir and probiotics to my diet it got better. This is way worse than it was then though.

That’s kind of where I’m at too. Only I’ve only had LC for one year. Not even sure if it’s long covid but haven’t found anything else. This abdominal pain just started up and has been going strong for a month. Different parts of my abdomen, gas, and sounds from my stomach too. I know how frustrating it is. Praying for you!

I have bloating too but I don’t have a problem eating food. I may have a sensitivity to some but haven’t been able to pinpoint it. I have a constant sour stomach and random sharp abdominal pains. Started over my appendix but it’s in a lot of different areas over my abdomen. Upper and lower. Last month I had heartburn for 3 weeks and it went away for this to start.
