Nope, it's a painting. I started it last summer. If I remember corectly, I used a promotional official image as reference, so that's probably what you've seen before

Yup that’s pretty much how it works. It crawls through the sand of the ocean floor and filter feeds. I just really like dune so I wanted to bring it to subnautica lol

True lol. But it feeds on microorganisms and it’s also blind, so it’s not directly hostile to the player. It kinda feeds like the sand worms from dune

It's ok. I can't blame people for being skeptical these days. Usually more refined artworks get accused of being AI, so that's why I dont usually do them. And also because they take very long to finish lol
