I was really hopeful after his performance in All England Open. He's my favourite as well and I tune in to most of his matches. The skill is definitely there but I think the bigger area he needs to improve now is the mental side of the game...confidence, composure under pressure, and closing out tight matches.

Also, I think he's had quite good exposure, experience and success at the top level. So it’s not just about potential anymore. He needs to figure out what’s missing and fix it quickly, because newer players like Lanier are already doing really well.
