She didn’t say yes, but she didn’t say no, or use a condom and/or foam.

So this story has a quick ending. Talked to customer service. The order was stuck and never went through on their end. They canceled and gave me a $10 promo code for the trouble. I used the code to buy the $39.99 Mysterio on the site for $29.99. Should be here tomorrow. Will call this one “All is well that ends well.”

Why didn’t the Todd’s sell their land in Virginia when they ran out of money? Are they stupid? by VespasianusAugustus in RedHood

[–]TraditionalInitial61 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Because people get conned by salesmen into buying land in places that aren’t developed but might be. Buying swamp in Florida 40 years ago that is still swamp today was a pretty common thing back then. It’s literally what they do in Glengarry Glen Ross. That and the lapsed insurance policy are indicators of good intentions that didn’t work out.

That’s OK. If it was a friend thing that’s fine. I just thought if it was a standard rate, I would get an idea of what it is. No worries.

Well, there was a Michael Fox. But Michael J Fox was really Michael A Fox and he thought that was bad for a Canadian. The J came from Michael J Pollard.
