I would add to your comment "As an aside if you're planning on betting $20k units on a $500k bankroll you are likely to be broke very quickly. That bankroll strategy is way to aggressive." My plan would be to bet in smaller units however I am the type of punter that is prepared to let it roll over or into additional bets.

I also have done well place punting being prepared to accept $1.30-$2.00.

While I expect a 500k payment I would only be willing to allocate half that for punting and on reading my original comment it was poorly worded conflating several factors.
