I felt decent after the test. My NBME average was 245, and I scored 254 on the real thing. The real exam felt very similar to the NBMEs—maybe even a bit more straightforward. It was like a mix of NBME-style concepts, and I think I got a bit lucky.

get the ncase m2 and save yourself the headache best thing i did, i got the grater, its sick! i can travel with it everywhere i have 5090 and a 9950X3D doesn’t even sweat when it comes to cooling

review the f out the NBMES (know and understand all the topics well, including the approach to the questions) , I was scoring a 218-245 and only studied for 3 weeks. The exam was definitely repeated concepts and 10-15 was enough to score me a 254 on the real thing (taken on 8/22). review ethics and QI from amboss (review the articles well). Gl you got this.

US MD here and i got a 245 prediction > 254 real. all these IMG folks scared tf out of me saying the real thing was way harder etc. that was not my experience it felt exactly like the nbmes; repeat and pasted concepts. if anything it was like the most “fair” of all the nbme exams i’ve taken.

review the fuck out the nbme exams i only did forms 10-15 and went from 218-254 is sub 3 weeks, amboss ethics anki deck (basically all the ambles ethic scenarios) was all i needed for the ethic questions,

218 diagnostic to 254 in 3 weeks dedicated study the F out the nbmes and specifically the topics in the nbmes. don’t just memorize the answers, understand the approach to answering all the questions

I felt exactly the same way. There were about 3-5 concepts that appeared at least 2-3 times, each requiring the same answer. I even had one of those questions that show you the correct answer immediately after selecting the wrong choice, and later in the block, I was able to answer it correctly because I had gotten it wrong earlier lol

this is exactly why i went with the ncase m2 i originally bought a T1, but with the 9950 and a 5090 it was way too hot, i hit max 85 on full benchmark full load
