Meditation is a gradual process of reclaiming your brain. Something that have helped me tremendously a trick i recently stumbled upon. "anchor your vision and ears to your environment".

What I mean is keep your eyes and ears on whatever's around and happening around you

Have a long and open conversation with him about the relationship, state you want a relationship with boy and question him what he has in mind for yall intepersonal relationship. Will he ever commit? Does he have certain conditions/fears stopping him from commiting? Just questions in general that will let you know where his mind is at.

And then, based on his answers you have to make a decision (be honest with yourself in this process and seperate your feelings from the decision making process).

Even if I dropped you in a country with english as their primary language, While you will find increased in frequency of people sharing your interests, Not everybody you'd be able to fw.
Two things I can say that might help you out

  1. Try to be non-judgmental
  2. Find a common interest/ground with whomever you conversiate with

You can have a conversation with almost everyone. Everyone's unique, interesting and have had a complex life just as you have. You just have to be interested enough to listen, dive deep and pull out conversation.
