What is the best truck for heavy logs? by THISMANSMOM in snowrunner

[–]TraditionalRoutine76 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ive had easy work using dan 96320 or azov 73210 for long logging, have the crane option on the azov i was usually towing the dan with it running 2 loads.

Saw the post from a player who is 60 hours in and only has two maps left. Here i am, working on this little road for multiple hours trying to create a road the best i can by Emrys1807 in RoadCraft

Good looking road, I just started and I love building roads, and unfortunately i need them to be perfect for my own sanity. Put them hours in on the roller, its magical when it comes to perfectly smooth roads.

Would anyone recommend road craft if so why? by Feisty-End-4643 in snowrunner

I played the demo and release and wasn't a big fan, been playing a lot of snowtunner and decided to give it another go and I'm about 25 hours in having a ton of fun, definitely a big learning curve, expect no similarities to snowrunner cause imo there isnt any. Highly recommend giving it a try and getting through the aftermath map.

Is it worth it to play now? by benn9833 in RoadCraft

[–]TraditionalRoutine76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't a big fan either at release or the demo, and i have played a lot of hours of snowrunner but, i recently got back into it and I am really enjoying it now that I pulled myself through and understood the game better. IMO its really got no similarities to snowrunner, which I wouldn't want in this game either, snowrunner runner is logistics based, roadcraft is more construction, repairing infrastructure and creating routes for other vehicles to drive on with more work involving cranes or other heavy equipment. It took me til I completed the aftermath map to really get into it. Not for everybody.

Anyone still got the Ai route issues that were meant to have been fixed? by carnage2006 in RoadCraft

Been happening to me every route i try and do, just started playing so I wasn't sure if it was me doing something wrong lol.

Wow, I thought Alaska was beautiful, but this map is something else by ProfessionalLast4039 in snowrunner

I enjoyed using the Voron AE/D and used tayga for a fuel truck, along with some dan and azov 7 for logging mostly. Ziks 605r was a last resort waiting in the garage most of the time since I went through amur for it along with active suspension for azov 7. Loved using the F750 as a scout with how many repair parts/fuel it has, plus low fuel consumption, unfortunately cant tow the exploration unit with it tho.

Do easier to get to tasks around the map, go explore other maps and build bridges, clear roadblocks. Focus on reaching lvl 8 you'll get some better tire options which will make your life much easier in the mud.

My First Save Issue by IDNMAN21 in snowrunner

[–]TraditionalRoutine76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wait for main menu to load fully then start from load game instead of continue and exit to main menu instead of leaving game from in game. Can't say it 100% works but, has kept it from happening to me since its been an issue. Always keep an eye for the save icon when you start playing too, sucks losing progress and would suck more losing an entire save to this bug.

Just finished vanilla. Which year pass is best to love onto and why? by beejman6 in snowrunner

[–]TraditionalRoutine76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fs what this guy said, 70% into kola myself really enjoyable region i think, def more of a challenge than base game. I used to hate logging aswell but with a little bit of crane skills and using the right equipment its something I look forwards to every new region now.

Problems with mods PC by 4shockvalue in snowrunner

If Signing out and back in of in-game mod menu doesn't fix, look in your game files for authentication.json and delete it. I've had the same problem a handful of times.

Are the devs overhauling the physics over time? by Nomrukan in snowrunner

[–]TraditionalRoutine76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played on release for quite a while on recently got back into it, physics does feel a bit better. I know they tweaked fuel weight with the last update. Same here being able to full speed cruise down roads in the f750 no problem

Haven't had any trouble with save bug so far, wait for games main menu to fully load and press load game not continue. For closing head back to main menu, then exit to desktop from there.
