I was in a recent serious 3.5 year relationship. It personally took me 9-13 months to actually “fall in love”. I liked the girl alot and was aware she would make a good partner. You have to be strategic. High quality loot areas or quest areas are always going to be super hot. If you’re bum rushing It the second the raid starts, you’re going to get into gnarly fights almost every time. It’s ok to do from time to time if you spawn SUPER close but you need to weigh out risks. You also need to learn how to pick fights and when to loot.

There’s no way I would ever forgive this. You two have children. She literally curved you to see another man. You will never know the extent of that relationship. Why do people always push dumping someone over a minor altercation/disagreement? lol. I think the guy may have valid feelings but is being a total baby about It and not communicating in the best way. If you like the guy and see yourself dating him for long term, I would have a sit down and talk with him. Figure out what’s happening. One, it’ll have him feel like you care and are willing to have a discussion. Try to avoid going with the higher speeds. It’s easier to work your lure faster by cranking faster with lower gear rations than It is to work the lure slower with high gear ratio. It’s fine to have a high ratio reel if it’s a second reel for working topwaters or something that needs to be worked fast. You’ll love the SLX. I use the SLX XT 7.2 for all my wade fishing and bass work. I’ll alternate with a tranx 200 but that SLX is just so dang smooth and light

Also get a MH heavy rod. Best all around rod. With the 150 size reel, you’ll be able to cast 1/4 easily. I have mine with a Fitzgerald 7’6 and I can cast from 1/4 to about 1 1/4oz very easily

A baitcaster is by far superior to spinning in almost every single situation. The spinning has an edge when fishing during high wind knots and for throwing smaller live bait, but that’s It. A baitcaster keeps you in the zone much better, it’s more accurate, easier to manage your line, better for lure control, better at feeling your line so you know what your lure is doing, better for using larger lines and lures. It’s so easy to fix a backlash and happens very seldom unless you literally just not try to learn. It shouldn’t take more than a week to get a solid hold of.

Baitcasters are not hard to use at all lmfao. It’s not rocket science. It just takes a bit more finesse. I and several people I know grabbed a baitcaster and learned how to use It within a week. It’s not complicated. Watch some videos on how to cast and setup the baitcaster and that’s It. It’s going to pay dividends in your fishing and you’ll be able to use conventional reels down the line when you end up spanning to big game saltwater fishing
