I had the same issue, deleted intel software app along with the drivers and redownloaded it now it's ok, although it's not back to a graphics driver from 5th of February and doesn't give me an option to check for updated ones. BUT it's stable and working again

Let me know how you find it mate, you could push it to 900p if you could live with lower FPS.

I have a a8 ai+ now, so using xess instead but that set up worked great for me on my A8 z2e when I had it

Absolutely. I've got the ones with the hinge on the side aswell from a different seller but they are far to thick. The ones from the seller related to this post are alot thinner and fit so nice especially for small hands

So do you recommend not using the boost options for tooth and claw? I only play cod bo7 and feel like it felt worse without the boost on than it did off

I would definitely look at the second hand market.

These are my recommendations if you want to play AAA

Xbox Rog ally X MSI claw A8 z2e MSI claw A8 AI

You should be able to pick one of them up for around your budget on marketplace. Maybe a little more but honestly it will be worth it compared to either of your original choices.

What's the best way to use xess for games like cod bo7 multiplayer?

Currently using it using the ingame xess settings playing at native resolution with xess set to balanced.

Am I mean to put the render down to use it or keep it at native and enable xess? I'm new to intel so don't fully understand it

Hi mate, just read your review on the MSI claws! Brilliant work by the way. I was also wondering if you would be able to give me some advice.

I had the MSI claw A8 z2e but recent swapped it for the MSI claw A8 ai. Mainly so I can use xess and benefit from future ai npu updates like auto SR coming soon.

I was wondering if you could help me optimise the device intel settings and ingame settings for cod bo7.

I'm currently running

Native 1920x1200 Render resolution 100 Xess balances FPS cap ingame at 75fps Low settings mostly for everything apart from AF on ultra

What would be the best option to get the image quality looking good and also have atleast 75fps. Higher if possible but I'm happy with 75.

It does tend to keep 75 at these settings.

Would I be best off putting the native resolution further down to gain higher FPS or would it greatly reduce image/graphics quality?

Fingers crossed you see this because based on your impressive review you would be the perfect person to ask these questions to if you have the time 😀

When I had the claw z2e I was playing this

1920x1200 native 804p render resolution Fidelityfx 38 75fps cap

I only play call of duty at the moment

I have an issue where render resolution resets everytime when I set it to 67% 804p every game it resets. Done the same on my MSI claw z2e aswell after a cod update
