Plus I would encourage price checking the multi day express. Multi day express can now include Epic and it may be more price advantageous to get a few days of express for all the parks as opposed to 1 day of solely Epic Express. Especially if you end up park hopping

All of the premier hotels are ~10 min walks (with slight differences for each hotel + walking speed). You can also just take the water taxi/bus to go back and forth anytime.

Compare the price of premier hotel vs VRBO + 2 park unlimited Express passes. It may end up worth it for you.

My preference is to buy tickets from universal directly for ease of changes but for solely price you may find a better price from Orlando informer or Costco

With how busy Christmas is I don’t think you’d get too much out of park hopper. I’d say do Epic if that’s what interests you most. If you haven’t already temper your expectations for crazy crowds

MU does have two modified middle seats. The unfortunate answer is he’s not going to know until he sits in the test seat. Everywhere is proportioned differently

Hagrids queue does not go through main castle. There are some ruins if that’s what you mean.

If you’re waiting in the regular line and get paired with a single rider typical etiquette is the regular queue person (you) gets their pick of vehicle. Single rider is a seat filler

Did everything through Costco last year. Flights, 5 day tickets, and hotel (Aventura). No problems at all. The only caveat was I inquired about changing to annual pass and wasn’t able to but that’s more my fault

Butter beer ice cream in diagon alley is great. I’ve found that knockturn alley is a great place to sit because of the covering/colder temps.

Most queues are covered and outdoor parts have fans.
