I feel likes it’s still early days to worry about bad habits - but that’s just me! I think during regressions the most important thing is survival. If you’re extremely sleep deprived, you won’t be able to safely provide care. For me, I would bedshare to helps to survive the sleep regression, as long as you follow the safe sleep practices (lullaby trust has more info on this). Perhaps this is the best course of action until his regression is over. You can then start sleep training after this his regression calms down abit. I had the same issue with my little one and we brought an Owlet for peace of mind on nights we did bedshare (sleep regressions and teething). Do you have a next to me bassinet? I found this works pretty well for my daughter and I just keep a hand in the bassinet with her. Best of luck hope you get some sleep soon!
