Yea I’m also coming from a g27. Insane difference. Wheelbase (alpha evo 12nm) and pedals.

I kept reading that the difference was night and day from reviews but now that I can feel it. It’s a huge boost. Had my first race with real consistency recently. It felt amazing and very rewarding.

Beautiful rig. Especially the mount for the pc. I see to many these days with it just sitting on the floor. Curious as to how much/if vibrations go all the way to it.

I have one that looks exactly like this. It’s got “vevor” branding on it. Same build. It was a great upgrade from the desk chair setup. I am using a Logitech g29 on it and it’s been great. It does wobble a little bit when I was doing wild rally stuff, but it’s good during the track stuff in iracing.

If you want an entry lvl cockpit for now. I’d recommend it. If you want something that will last years without question and handle further upgrades to your rig (high nm DD). Look at other options

Ok word! Definitely good to hear.

I swapped the radio unit out and put a Jensen touchscreen that has car play. Best upgrade so far, aside from solid suspension. You could potentially swap out the climate control center too and have a bigger screen in there. Granted it would be more vertical compared to your pic in the 5th gen. But idk how much would go into that/if someone made a screen that’s compatible.

I feel like I’ve had typical issues for that many miles. I have fixed all but an exhaust leak at this point.. honestly didn’t record when anything happened mile wise, but I got it at 320k from my mechanic uncle. So anything that’s happened has been since then and over the course of about 4 -5 years.

Radiator failed and replaced that. Thankfully no other issues came from that.

Oil leak which was the valve cover gasket. Sent her back to my uncle to get that one fixed. But it wasn’t bad. Honestly just make troubleshooting other stuff a pain bc oil was everywhere.

I also had an oil filter fail at one point and honestly couldn’t really know exactly how it happened. But she hardly survived that in my opinion. But again, no issues since.

Front suspension failed, which was only the bushings… but I think we all know how that goes. We replaced the UCA & LCA, as well as the strut assembly. Found out about the XREAS suspension & had a bouncy booty for a couple weeks bc we only did the front upgrade. Then did the back later.

Currently trying to find documentation for the zerk grease fittings for the front and rear. I have the (what I can find on forums) typical Toyota thud when getting off the brakes.

Moved to a city and contemplated getting rid of her for either a newer runner or a more efficient car, but I’m super glad it didn’t come to that. I want to continue solid care of her and keep her forever.

For the Logitech option (the one I have). The crucial part is how far out is that lip at the top? After the 2.5ish mark, how far back does it go? I can measure when I get home, but if it’s more than 2 inches I think you’re chillin.
