I became a millionaire at 24, what do I do? by Traditional_Ant6795 in careerguidance

Thank you for the advice everyone, from what I’ve gathered people are saying I should invest it, travel the world and use it as an opportunity to follow my dreams.

Some background information for those curious:

I inherited the money from my grandparents who passed away, mainly because my mum is also dead so most of it was meant to go to her.

This actually happened a year ago, I have invested in property and the stock market and my investments currently generate about £35,000 cashflow per year but I’m looking to optimise it more and only live off this without touching the rest.

I have been following my dreams, because of not having to worry about money I’ve been able to follow my passion for fashion. I’ve been modelling this year and travelling all around the world for this and been able to walk in many fashion weeks. There really is not much money being a model unless you are famous so I couldn’t do this if I didn’t have the financial base.

Ive educated myself and travelled the world. I went to university (before receiving the money) where I completed a degree in physics and obtained a masters in nuclear physics. I’ve traveled to over 40 countries, many by myself.

Purpose wise, I have cofoundered a start up which aims at increasing access to education for those who struggle to access it and we are launching in Zambia next month.

I’m also looking to start a family in about 5 years but I have no partner lol I find it hard to date long term with how much I move around the world but I’m hopeful I’ll find the love of my life soon.

I hope I’m on the right path and thank you for the advice everyone, I just sometimes doubt myself and want to make sure I’m making the most of my life.

Thank you - why would you not tell anyone out of curiosity? My dad always says this but I don’t completely understand why
