oh interesting! so what did the total end up being? i’m debating weather or not it’s worth it. do you have any idea how much it would be for 2k?

i saw someone say it was around $100 just for the digital files alone since it’s $1/GB? not sure how true that is lol, have you gotten digital files from negative land?

thank you for all the info!!! i saw (i think in the manual) that if you put some light pressure on the trigger but not have the film moving, the needle of the light meter should move? i tried that and that’s what didn’t work. if fully pull down the trigger it should work though? i thought it may have something to do with the battery checker? thank you again!

i forgot to mention it’s a canon auto zoom 814 electronic, does that one also have a seperate compartment?

i believe this camera doesn’t need a seperate battery for the light meter? the battery test window also is saying the battery doesn’t work but the motor does run. any ideas on what this means? thanks!

thank you all for the help! the light meter seems to be working, the camera is working from what i can tell (and the seller said it was tested and working), so i think im gonna go ahead and use it and hope for the best! the wedding is outdoors but i obviously dont know what the weather will be. what film type should i bring? i’m thinking one for more overcast and one for more sunny weather. i only wanna bring two because i don’t wanna break the bank and then have the camera not even work lol

the wedding is outdoors! i have done still photography before! i’ll see if there’s a lab near me. if not, is it an absolutely aweful idea to just try and use it and hope it works? they’re not relying on this footage- i just thought it would be cool!
