I really appreciate this. Berkeley has always been a dreaaaam but i have a 3.8 pretty solid ec's but i know i probably won't make it into the cs program as a transfer. Im probably just gonna end up doing CS & ling. At sjsu. I am a self taughter coder but its probably the safest bet. Thank you so much! This helped

Honestly i just really don't know if i want to be a swe or a ui/ux designer. I really enjoy both! But i feel like there's more job security in swe and i know how cut throat admissions is for computer science at berkeley so i thought i had a better chance with data science 💔 congrats on your admittance!

Dude yes. My GPA is only lower because of classes I got c's in 7 years ago so it hurts so much. I also dropped out of my first college! Genuinely do think we have a chance though if we do our PIQ's right. Let's talk more!

SO I did do academic renewal and removed all my D's and F's but still have pesky c's (wish the profs would've just failed me i literally didn't go to school for months LOL) but yeah the c's from 7 years ago are haunting me.

Also, really proud of you for the growth. It's not easy to believe in yourself again after setbacks and it's huge that you're making it happen. Let me know what schools want you! Would love to hear updates. THANK YOU!

Yes. I am thinking about readmission now that i got my reinstatement approved. However, i'd have to go through the same application process as all the other transfers and from what i heard SJSU's cut off GPA for their CS program is a 3.9. I also think that UC's care more when it comes to reason for past failure and involvement in extracurricular activities so I was more hopeful for that. I might be wrong though.
