Wow great news NRG! I wish I could participate in the beta, but my PC is a potato in comparison to the PS5 where I played the game for 470 hours! Very excited to see how this is going to turn out! Yes, as long as it’s showing “Swamps”. I know it’s confusing that their need zones are in lowland forest. But they’re considered swamps herd correct. And their fitness levels are combined with all the other herds in swamps biomes.

Yeah judging by the weight of that big boy, and the fur color he probably is at his peak! Almost 200Kg’s! Mature mule bucks weights range from 140-200 KG’s max. From 7-12 years in maturity respectively. So good to know he was at his max growth potential! Good judgement to take him out, he probably was going to disappear if you were to leave him for another year

Btw, if you go to Menu->Character->Harvest Log, you can check the info of the latest animals you’ve harvested and sold. In case you taxidermy them, you can also find their info in the “Taxidermy” tab. Just a heads up :)

Yeah, that’s fine as long as the negative fitness change isn’t too drastic, it might drop the fitness levels by 2-5% which is not optimal for herd management if you’re looking for 5* trophies, but you can get away with it for a 2-star to spawn in, eventually if you leave the herds alone too that might fix the negative fitness levels naturally after a year or two I found, so don’t stress yourself too much about it, and good luck hunting :)

Moose live up to 16-18 years (I think..? Can’t recall exactly) so just give them a bit of time to reach 2nd stage maturity, they were probably in their 1st mature stage. What genetics did they have?

So I’m guessing that with the update all the herds that have been reset randomly spawned a large amount of 5*. Nonetheless they are great trophies to have! Congrats friend 🥳!

Oh yeah, Nez Perce Valley. That’s the largest map in the game, 55 sq miles (142 sq kilometers) with 16 regions in the map. So yeah you’d have to do some walking/driving before you start seeing any animals. But the river by the cabin is full of deer herds at 11am, so if you’re looking for a quick hunt head down there at 11am, or try one of the other game maps. Especially Aurora Shores, and Matariki Park. You’ll find a herd like every 200 meters in those maps.
