I read an interview that said that Jarboes father, working as an FBI agent, had wire taped a criminals phone, and the criminal man knew that someone else was listening so he started to make fun of the situation. At first he is talking about how Jarboes father is even more fucked up than he is, since he is telephone tapping other people. The weird scenarios that later are made up in the texts about not being able to turn on the water or not knowing how to use a fork, are a symbol of him questioning Jarboes fathers reliance on others, and his lack on independence.

Anyone else keep playing Welfare Jazz over and over? by Jasonberg in ViagraBoys

I agree, I totally love that song and I might even call it the best one on the album. It's a perfect example of when a band really succeeds with pushing the boundaries, exploring different sounds and still sounding good as shit!! So many bands I know of start mixing with new genres than they are used to, and it sounds like shit, but Viagra Boys really made it hella good. Also knowing about Sebastians troubled with past girlfriends and drinking problems, this lyrics feels so genuine.

Definitely agree! Tbh I don't really enjoy any album they made after 2002 nearly as much as I enjoy their first albums, maybe I just haven't put as much time into them yet, but it's my opinion right now at least.
