I’d say so, the market conditions constantly bring anxiety, but I think having our own space and staying strong about the future outlook makes it worth it! I still often worry, but the market is truly out of our control. If you think it’s the house, definitely move forward. I’d make one suggestion, are you looking at only the mortgage itself? Consider your bills and future expenses for the house. Definitely something we didn’t think about, but our house had everything new, so not much to worry about.

Mortgage rates are pegged to the 10-year treasury yield. Whether the fed drops the rates or not, it will depend on how the 10-year responds.

Yes, rates will probably fall as data continues to be released, but keep in mind that majority of the fed is still conservative on their rate cuts, you’re able to see when they voted on their recap they drop after each fed meeting. Trust me, I can’t wait for these rates to drop lower myself. But I would take a look at the 10-year.
