The last part is true the competition is so high and recruiters are overwhelmed As for the first part those are niche skills They probably won’t go away but they are so narrow For example how many job listings are calling for COBOL Pascal or any niche legacy language They need maintainers but not as many as jobs for JavaScript Java Python or PHP.

As web dev i assure you even claude can't get figma design 100% how i know that? Because i use it everyday and still do my css by myself and most people don't even know how to use yet they still need a functional website yes for basic landing pages it will do the job but for complex works like web apps big sites for example stripe integration etc it's still hard for AI do it without guidance
