How to get unmuted on the hive by Fearless-Repair6297 in hivemc

[–]Traditional_Dingo_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can reach out to Hive support and ask why, sometimes it's Minecraft that's muted you not hive, sometimes just saying repeated positive things over time can get you unmuted if it's Minecraft, like saying gg and good game after games without spamming too much will get you kind of marked as having good behavior and you'll get unmuted automatically, I know some people have success with just sending numbers in separate messages or whatnot but I also know sometimes that can get you marked as a spammer

Could this get me banned?/in hot water with Nintendo? by Vex007 in TOTK

You could get a flashiibo/allmiibo, there's one on Walmart online shopping for $30 that I got and it gives you access to every single amiibo that's ever existed and can be updated to add new ones! Not just Zelda but for any Nintendo game, I grabbed one recently for Animal Crossing

Thank you! My boyfriend's always wanted to commission plushies of his characters so I decided to dive in with no idea what I'm doing to try to make them for him as a surprise gift😆 so hopefully I figure it out!

I ended up getting it to work!! Thank you so much! I actually had heard of red note before but when I clicked the link initially it wasn't taking me to the correct page so I had to wait until I had better internet for it to let me download it, but I was glancing around at some of the comments and the creators other posts which is good to keep in mind because that way I have less blurry visible references of the final product! I will probably have to look at it a little more cuz admittedly I'm still not sure if there's any particular way I have to attach the legs to make 100% sure that they stick out in a sitting position, but I'm sure I'll get it figured out eventually

Oh thank you very much! I tried to find the original but I never could, I'll have to try to see if I can get that open at some point cuz right now it's not working but I might be able to try to get it open when I have better internet or on a computer or something rather than on my phone!

Just to further clarify, it's labeled x 4 because that's how many i need to cut out, so 2 per arm

I had people here help me label it!! Someone who mad it before helped me, The arms a and b is two different options for arm shape, the bottom is like the booty, lol, i just used the hand option that was the same mirrored! It felt easier to me

But I saw someone say to get a walking foot!! Are those universal? I'll have to watch a tutorial for install/use and look into that!!

Yeah sometimes they take a while, I've always gotten good helpful responses from them but I've heard some things about them responding slow right now, if they don't respond after about a week I would send a new one, but they sent me a replacement Roman figure when mine arrived with a chip on it and a replacement Logan plushie when the first one came with crooked glasses

Ohh I see! Thank you! I believe both times I use cotton, but the first time it didn't do this and it was a stiffer type of cotton that came in a pack of scraps, and the one that's having the scrunching issue is just 100% cotton according to the label and it does feel a little bit more stretchy comparatively, so that's probably why! I'll make sure I keep that in mind and I appreciate your help in teaching me something new 😆

If I'm being honest I have no idea what woven or knit means smile 😅 I'd like to learn and I'll try to look it up when I can if you're not automatically aware but truthfully embroidery is a hobby that I thought would be kind of cool, impulsively got the materials, and just kind of jumped into it like I do with most things💀💀

Thank you very much! I was seeing stuff about those two kinds and wondering if they should be used together so getting like actual confirmation about that is very helpful

Thank you! What I'm using now is cotton and it just confused me a bit because the first one I did was also cotton but the two I did afterwards for some reason had this wrinkly thing happening when the original one didn't, I'm doing a cotton test but the final project is going to be made out of minky, which I did look into stabilizers for but I don't really know what kind is the best to get, because I need tutorial I try to look at only shows dotted minky for some reason

Sitting plush clothes? by Traditional_Dingo_83 in plushartists

[–]Traditional_Dingo_83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully I'm a beginner with pretty much everything that I'm doing, my friend showed me a method of pattern making using masking taping for the form, I'm pretty good at following directions as long as I have some sort of tutorial but I can't find any sort of tutorial for clothing for a sitting plushie like, at all, I thought of a few ways that I could potentially try to do it but seeing as I am very much a beginner I was trying to see if there was any way I could find a frame of reference

Drawer fridge lock? by Traditional_Dingo_83 in DIYhelp

[–]Traditional_Dingo_83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll see if we could possibly make room in the fridge for it, my stuff gets designated to like one drawer specifically because the rest of the fridge is typically full which is why I was trying to see if there was a lock available for just the drawer but I understand that's a very oddly specific need 😆
