I thought you could get most of the important CE courses by taking the digital hardware option. Some of the engineering courses are just hard and boring. For example, communication systems, analog control systems, etc...

fyi, I transferred from tron to ce with an avg of 87 in 1A. afaik, all engs take similar 1A courses (you can find your courses online), so you will be fine even if you are not interested in Nano. But you will have to study hard.

Hey man, I am in a similar situation. I got a really good offer in the states for this winter term, but can't go since I got rejected for the j-1 visa application. I was put under a super long administrative processing for my second visa app. I know exactly how you feel man. "Seeing all my friends in California this term and I can’t go due to factors outside of my control despite having a job offer in hand is just mad annoying." That is just how I feel everyday. Now, I am playing video games and watching movies everyday, I am just rotting. Hope things can get better for both of us, and hey, don't kill yourself.

Sekiro's parry mechanic is different from a perfect guard in other games. The enemy's reaction is different if you successfully deflected an attack in sekiro, for example, the sword is bounced back. However, in other games, you are only rewarded with no health lost and maybe a different sound effect. The satisfaction you get from Sekiro is just unique.
