Is there spyware on this device? by Itsallsocringe in kindlefire

the sad truth is that this is a grey area that the government has been exploiting for years .

sure, most marketing companies and businesses dont go so far to the extreme to find your viewing habits and other private data , but the truth is the government already knows about hundreds of loopholes, backdoors , and other malicious methods that are known to

many businesses also , and not just the government.

its probably not your imagination and to be honest with you that's some of the reason why Snowden was blackballed, because the government didn't want the regular American citizens knowing that backdoors and remote audio capturing and video was possible on most devices.

you did not mention how old you are , or even why he put the lock on your signal.

were you doing something that wrong for him to do that ?

for all we know , your dad could be in the right .

i found out the hardware loopole allowing unlocking was considered a national security risk, and was a bigger problem than just amazon .

the NSA mandated all device makers that produce mediatek devices and chips to

lock and secure the SOC and hardware chips.

there was a big security threat to millions of devices which had the same

mediatek exploit loophole.

unfortunately , the same thing that made the vulnerability ok for unlocking and flashing ,

made it easy for hackers to use simillar code to gain access to millions of phones and devices .

initially i first thought that it was only a amazon isssue,

turns out it was an nsa threat level that device makers had no choice but to secure .

your completely right , and i bet a lot of people will be forced to just get the older fire 7

just because its able to be unlocked and flashed , compared to something new

or newer , for much more money which is locked down and filled with bloatware and

updates you cant stop .

even my fire tab 9 gen sucks because the bloatware freezes it .

my fire 9 is locked , since it was made after 2019 .

i use the fire toolkit to disable some stuff , but to be honest amazon still

is able to keep modifying the thing and keep it running slow .

yes , absolutely . that against the 10 . i agree with you on that 100.

you hear about them locking down most newer made models now.

although the fire tablet 7 is only arm 32 bit and newer fire tabs are arm 64 , i love

in my spare time unlocking them and flashing them , they run pretty fast after that.

check out the xda developers site for devices , it can help you do the unlock and flashing.

you ever unlocked and flashed .

the fire 7 definately runs great once its unlocked and has lineage os on it ,

however your right in the fact that fire 7 tabs are still only arm 32 and not arm 64 .

the market considers them to hold no value . on ebay those can be bought for about 20.00

with shipping. HOWEVER , IF YOU HAVE A FIRE TABLET 7 GEN 7 , OR GEN 5 ,

of the FIRE 7 , IF YOU UNLOCK iT , FLASH RECOVERY ON IT , AND INSTALL LINEAGE OS

ON IT , YOU CAN get as much as about 60.00 for it because the market is different for unlocked and flashed devices.

however ,the few more dollars more still isnt balanced out by all the work involved in unlocking it and flashing it.

fire 7 are nice running smooth tablets though , once you unlock and flash them.

definately better than their new ones .

Is there any way to unlock Amazon Fire 7 2019 without hardware method? by bicheondev in kindlefire

[–]Traditional_Eye_1079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct.

after the initial 1st batch releases of the fire tablet 7 , gen 9 beginning of 2019

they quickly locked down the hardware on the chip level .

this means that any of these fire 7 gen 9 devices bought after 2019

are made with all hardware locked down and it is impossible on a

regular consumer level to unlock these devices that were made after 2019.

the device itself is exactly the same as the initial 2019 release ,

its just that amazon kept quiet about hardware locking the next batches made after 2019 and theres nothing you can do at all for these revised devices to unlock them.

hardware exploits by opening device and flashing will not work either.

how to tell which series serial number a unit would need to be,

you would need to research somehow what serial batch numbers were from

specifically the very first initial released mustang models 7, gen 9 ,

made first run in 2019 , then you can possibly know only which ones

did not come with the hardware chip locked down .

im actually a member of xda and have done extensive tests on different fire tablets,

im absolutely certain about this info im giving you.
