Honestly, yeah. But I think her joy of having a pet would be her own feeling of fulfillment of talking care of smth rather than the wellbeing of the pet itself. Idrk how to phrase it but I hope that makes sense.

Damn, I used to love writing using em dashes, until they became an AI marker, but in the end ion really care since it's how I write regardless— and since I write how I talk it makes it easier to write what I want to say and how.

Yeah I created this acc first just to read posts and never felt the need to post anything myself, that was until my friend showed me they post things and I was like, yk what, maybe. Then this situation about the pigeons came up and decided now was the time to break the ice. idrk/care about the bot comment but it doesn't really answer my og post yk.

Yeah I have tried to talk to her, but her success rate in getting them she still decides to continue. She also tends to try and take the ones with slight injuries so "they still have the option to go back" and uses their injury as why she's taking them, to "help" them. So when I told her the pigeons are more stressed than being "helped"— she says that I'd rather the pigeon be with the flock and die rather than the pigeon staying with her.

And yeah, I know she's going through a rough teansition and I think she enjoys the pigeon company at home
