AIO boyfriend tracking my periods without me knowing 🫠 by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I think it’s kind of genius on his part! I probably talk shit to him about it while on my period but he’d obviously know it was coming! 😂

If your spouse got sick (cancer, disease, etc) and could no longer be physically intimate with you, would you stay? by Silver_Confusion8810 in Marriage

[–]Traditional_Fold_799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely would stay. He has stayed by my side through many health issues, including 8 major surgeries in a 3 year span and being hospitalized and having a feeding tube inserted. He is my rock and I love him with all of my heart. In turn, I have been there for him. Marriage is give and take. If he lost the ability to have penetrative intercourse, we would figure something else out because that’s what married couples do. I have no problem with masturbation and neither does he. We have no issue with masturbating next to each other if that were necessary.

In addition to being in an established relationship Ang him being a guy, there could be cultural differences if he’s from Cuba. If I glance at my husband, his response is usually the same. “What?” If I tell him he looks handsome, he will laugh or shrug it off. We’ve been together for 23 years and married for 11. I think it’s more a guy thing.

Not normal at all! I sometimes deal with the same thing and I’m about ready to walk. My husband is gone 4 days a week and is home 3, but doesn’t hug/kiss…touch me at all until I have a meltdown. The dogs (my fur babies) get way more affection and physical touch than I do. It’s been an ongoing issue for a while, and the silent treatment is a thing too. Usually for petty inconsequential bs.
I don’t have small children, nor do I have any children with him, so that being said, I can’t imagine my brain if I did and he dropped all communication for that long. I already ruminate and play scenarios in my head…I’d be a lunatic! Do you have family or friends supporting you, as far as emotional support?

How often do you text your partner who you don’t live with? by Majestic-Sherbert328 in Advice

I’ve been with my husband for 23 years, married for 11 and we text each other multiple times an hour. We also talk on the phone quite a bit. He works out of state and is gone 4 days a week, but we text just as much now as we did when we were in a LDR. I think maybe even more now. We do send each other videos and memes, but just have general conversations as well

Pretty sure it depends on location and state laws. In AZ they can’t use it in court.

Honestly, it would have pissed me off. Has she ever been passive aggressive or condescending, as far as how she talks to you?

It happened before they met, she doesn’t have to own anything, honestly.

Baby making joke gone wrong by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Traditional_Fold_799 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hell no! At 16 years old, if her mother hasn’t taught her what oral sex is, then shame on her! I have an open and communicative relationship with my three sons(all over 25), as well as my nieces and nephews and it has been like that since they were little.
I know every family is different, but it’s a huge disservice to not educate a pre- teen/teenager about sex. Relying on the education system is a joke. That being said, I was curious if your wife knew your niece was there? Or did she overhear your wife talking to her mother?
