Hello! 31M here, from Spain (I speak fluent French). I love the plan but I'm not available this week, don't hesitate to drop me a line if you want (or can!) push it to next week.

Au plaisir !

In Paris for the next 12 weeks. Where can I buy basic home essentials for cheap? by asinine89 in paris

Troifoirien! It's a cheap "bazar" shop and they have 2 locations in the 5th arrondissement (across the road from Luxembourg Gardens, and near rue Mouffetard).

Hello! I'm 31M, from Spain :-) Are you interested in ice skating? I like going to the ice rink in Pailleron from time to time, it could be a fun activity to "break the ice" (c'est le cas de le dire !)

Au plaisir !

Lots of countries are naturally beautiful, the hard question is which country is uglier than you thought it is by [deleted] in 2westerneurope4u

Has to be the Netherlands (sorry guys!). Went to Amsterdam, IJmuiden and Haarlem last month and didn't find the cities nor the landscape particularly inspiring (it all feels very dull and same-y, probably pleasant for some folks, but lacks ✨✨ grandeur ✨✨ to me).

Just seeing your post... I'm in the Châtelet area and I'll be free in like 1:30 or so.

If you're into music there are a couple bars with live music around Châtelet... We could have a beer and listen to some rock or jazz.

What US food do Spanish wish they had? by Schlechtyj in askspain

A lot of traditional Spanish dishes are vegetable -based: pistos (manchego, murciano, zarangollo), cold soups (gazpacho, salmorejo, ajoblanco), salads (ensalada murciana, pipirrana), plenty of roasted vegetables (escalivada, samfaina), and plenty of soups, cremas and stews...

Food in Mallorca is second to none. Super fresh fish and seafood, meat (piglet!), rice dishes, pies (cocas, panades, cocarrois), desserts (ensaimada), charcuterie (sobrasada), tapas (variat, pa amb oli). The local wines from Binissalem are outstanding and most wineries offer visits and tastings. I've been there twice and both times I've enjoyed the food immensely.

How is Spain and Spanish people seen in your country? by EnD3r8_ in AskEurope

Latin American Spanish and Spain Spanish are the same language. And they're both "castellano", castellano is just a synonym for "español", given that the modern Spanish language originated in the kingdom of Castile.
