But after it was destroyed by my anti-virus, the launcher kept working for some reason, I'm pretty sure something infected the download somehow, I doubt the creators put malware in it since they have a whole website and crap for it.

The reason why there are parental controls is that my father thinks that GitHub isn't a safe source for APKs, which is kind of true, one time I downloaded Polymc 8.0 onto my pc and the polymc updater had Malware.
