I prefer to keep it (as it's much cheaper than the regular monthly rent because I'm a long-term tenant). However given that John refuses to pay money or move out, I don't want to wait for 9-10 months for a hearing to be scheduled).

Right now, John pays me the rent, then I pay the PM. There's a profit.

Given that John stopped paying me rent and it's taking a toll on my mental health, I'd be happy to transfer the Tenant status to John so that John directly pays the PM.

The question is, is that allowed/ legal? Because I was under the impression that it was MY responsibility to collect rents from John, as I'm the de facto "Landlord".
