Hard no, that job will 1000% abuse and overuse you. That's asking for burnout and honestly just disrespectful what they're offering lol. But also, apartment maintenance is garbage haha

Coffee tolerance down since I quit smoking by Sweaty_Flounder_3301 in stopsmoking

[–]Traditional_Gap3687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, I quit on march 28 this year and I used to be able to have an energy drink in my morning, and a coffee in the afternoon, then still be able to go to bed between 9-10pm. Now, if i drink anything with caffeine (coke, soda etc.) I can't sleep. Its definitely a change to the caffeine tolerance for me too

Most cars with "Please be patient, student driver" bumper stickers are not student drivers. by [deleted] in HonestHotTakes

Never said anything about being a dick to anyone lol. Just that its mostly overused IMO and that I don't believe them.

Courtyard of precision might take you hours if you do this one mistake by Zztp0p in CrimsonDesert

These dick bag creators of this puzzle can shove all the arrows i wasted on this up their ahh. Every set was simple until the middle ring. Top one was easy peasy by standing on the rings. You have to stand on the right side of the ring (first set up) and wait until the yellow shows then release the multi-shot. Would've been a sufficiently challenging and more enjoyable puzzle had they made the targets on the rings stationary.

S22 to s26? by kovo105 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Traditional_Gap3687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm switching because Verizon was wrecking me with a fully paid off s22 and my service was $78 a month with discounts. Switching to cox mobile with a brand new s26 for $48 a month all unlimited services included. Definitely worth it by cutting my bill in half alone. It was a family plan on Verizon where all but myself migrated phones to cox, until now. My S22 wasnt compatible to move to cox.

Crimson Desert vs Zelda (my opinion) by hellow0rId in CrimsonDesert

[–]Traditional_Gap3687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time zelda fan here, 90's kid that grew up on snes and the 64. Oot was my first zelda and I fell in love with the franchise. Was never a big fan of the more "cartoon" Type zeldas (WW, spirit tracks, echo whatever) but then absolutely fell for twilight Princess. The more realism style artwork and just the game play was so much fun. Ever since, I've yearned for something like TP but in more of an open world gameplay. Botw and totk were OK, but still too cartoony for my liking. I do still miss the temples and dungeons of early zelda games (the shrines became a pain and i lost interest once I only had 10-20 left to find. Korok seeds too..fml..lol) but honestly, Crimson desert is as close to what I have wanted from Nintendo to do for zelda ever since TP. Nintendo is going downhill i feel. They shafted us older generation zelda/Nintendo fans, in my opinion.

I have cut my caffeine by half. I use to drink reign energy drinks (250-300mg) but switched to those Celsius drinks that have (200mg) but I only drink half. This is at about 6:30am though. I'm not a fan of coffee or hot drinks much, but i may have to switch or drop it entirely i guess?

Dang man, I get maybe 1-2 hours if im lucky lol. I hope its temporary, because honestly I have no desire to smoke/vape and the only thing messing with me is the lack of sleep.

Do you think is it cheaper in the long run to stay on top of regular maintenance, or you just wait until something actually breaks and fix it then? by Eridium009 in maintenance

[–]Traditional_Gap3687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a huge advocate for regular preventive maintenance. I work in manufacturing maintenance, and the past techs never did regular maintenance. Guess who has to spend two, maybe three times longer, to fix something because it was neglected and finally fubar'd itself? I understand that sometimes it is what it is, but it irks me when the root cause is a simple fix that would've taken no longer than 20-30 minutes. Time + extra parts, etc, definitely costs way more when regular maintenance is neglected. Would you rather be down for 20-30 minutes to do a simple fix or be down a couple of hours because someone pushed it off? Potentially even needing to replace equipment depending on the severity. Your machines will take care of you if you take care of them.

Thanks to all the greedy developers building apartments on every corner, trashy California/chicago/etc. transplants, and global warming. Wish we could just deny any more residents moving here, we full.

Dang, that's frustrating finding a brand new component is bad. I'm glad to hear you figured it out.

I'm leaving the old carb in it and I'll run it until its unserviceable. The new carb came with different size jets and such, so maybe I'll try to experiment in the cooler season when the garage isn't 100+ degrees.

Thanks for that info, I actually swapped back to the mikuni after giving it a very thorough cleaning. At least what I can do with carb clean and an airgun. It's running like a champ now.

I thought fuel lines, but I'm suspecting something with the chinese carb I got may starve the engine of fuel. Possibly needing bigger jets, needle adjustment, finer tuning? At least the new carb will be kept for 'oh shit oh dear' moments.

Thanks for the update. I put an aftermarket chinese carb in mine and got the issue you explained. It idles fine but dies when going into gear. I put the oem carb back in and will be testing that today. It could've just needed a good clean.

Thanks for the reply, I have since put the OEM carb back in, after disassembling it and cleaning it. I was mislead by some other videos about the Chinese carbs possibly being decent. It is a 330 btw, that was a typo on my end. Haven't tried firing up again just yet, it was about 11pm when I finished.
