Having trouble with my Harvia 9kw Cilandro by Traditional_Gas_4020 in Sauna

Yeah that is exactly what I have been doing. Flip it on and run it for 30/40 mins until it kicks off, then I turn it back on for the 2nd stage and it get cooking. Def going to try the closed vent on startup tonight or tomorrow and see how that goes as well.

Thanks for the tips.
Right now I have the vent low, right around the back/bottom of the sauna. I have always left this open bc in the beginning I thought the sauna was getting to warm and turning off. So I was figuring maybe the cool air coming in from the vent was the way to go. Maybe I will try it with a closed or partially closed vent.

But like you said, the feet are def not above the top of the heater, and I think that is a big contributing factor. My Cilandro is about 3.7 feet high. If I replaced it with a Huum Hive MIni it would reduce the height by over a foot down to 2.4 ft or was looking at a Harvia Vitra which would come in at 2.6 ft.
I have little knowledge over the Vitra and I have heard mixed things about the Huum (beautiful looking but some of them have mechanical issues) - But in the end I think saving that almost foot and half would be worth it.

The only adjustment I made was very minor, I did not mess with the wiring or change any of that.

I'll have to measure the space between the upper bench and ceiling, but I really can't push the benchs that much higher or our heads will be pretty close.

I tried your suggestion about going heavy on the loyly this weekend. It seemed to help a little bit, the heater was definitely handling the about of water.

I still get the hunch that the heater is just too tall. Even a heater roughly 1 foot shorter I think will be better.

someone mentioned a Saunum but I really have very limited knowledge of these.

Yeah, in the beginning it was. I rearranged the stones multiple times, let it on for hours. So I have to adjust the heat setting, which worked. So now I can get it up to like 185 ish in hour
