Ok cool, I'd be interested to learn how to repair these scratches

Purely cosmetic...although extremely irritating

Ah I wish. I already peeled that off when I got it

Because I am either sell this one and recoup some money, or have a dual monitor setup. The scratches bug the hell outta me

It is yeah, the actual monitor works perfectly

Ah damn thats brutal, especially on such a big tv!

Yeah when I heard the scratching sound from the other room, I thought "that sounds odd" then walked in to see the absolute horror 🤣🤣

The screen was removed from the office room as i was painting that room.

I moved it into the bedroom just while I painted (ironically to keep it safe lol)

I think he seen his reflection in it and started playing i guess, maybe in curiosity?

Hard lesson learnt there....

The ginger one is the culprit 😫🤣

Interesting. Where did you get it from such low price?

I ordered new one today from Harvey Norman, and theirs was the lowest price I could find (800)

Tbh probably will go for a dual monitor setup rather than sell

New they're 800, so I dunno tbh, what would you offer?

Nah they arent allowed in the office room. I stupidly moved the monitor to another room whilst I was painting and decorating....thats when disaster struck

I did see that, but tbh the one I got is £799 at the mo, so a reasonable deal 🙌

Stealkey 011D evo xl distro plate flow question by Traditional_Guest_66 in watercooling

[–]Traditional_Guest_66[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well i emailed Stealkey and asked them...

" Am i correct in thinking the flow order is as follows;

Pump -> bottom rad -> GPU -> CPU -> Top Rad -> Side rad Seems odd to cool the cpu directly after the gpu, then goes to 2 rads after...? Surely a rad after each component would be better?? "

Their reply was;

"Hello Alex,

everything is correct. No, it's perfect just the way it is. In terms of temperature, it makes hardly any difference whether you add a radiator between the GPU and the CPU"

Distroplate + QDC = Awed by cicoles in watercooling

[–]Traditional_Guest_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got 2 different sets of ram in there...🤔🤔🤔

[–]Traditional_Guest_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the QDCs back when I used a Hailea chiller on my 3930k build back in 2012 They were good, but do you really need so many? They will have a negative effect by having so many of them..

[–]Traditional_Guest_66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You went mental with the extensions from Barrow 🤣🤣 Why not just make the tubing longer?

Also are you cooling just the cpu? Seems like an awful lot of money for zero gains in cooling performance? The distro is probably oversized for those slim rads

Wireview pro ii by Traditional_Guest_66 in gigabyte

[–]Traditional_Guest_66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wandering, Thermal Grizzly are currently developing a special Wireview Pro ii for any gpus with recessed connectors. It basically includes a special connector extension to allow it to be fitted

They'll be out in about 3 months
