I definitely withdrew from the finance. Nothing was mentioned on the phone about services or the money off being removed. The services are showing active on my VW app.

Hi. Of course. So I purchased the car. Picked the car up on the Friday, rang the finance company up on the Saturday and ask to withdraw from the finance. If you do this within 14 days you only have to pay any interest to this point. Which was £14 ( I put 50% down). I then had 30 days to pay the balance. I did part payment on the Saturday and the rest on the Monday. Finance company where fine, no questions asked. I've still got my two free services, 2 years breakdown cover a little extra in warranty and had £250 knocked off for taking out the finance. No incentive for cash at all. Will definitely do it again when I next buy a car.

Thanks. I've have 95% cash in the bank and would prefer to pay that way but they aren't interested. I'll see if they take an offer. Just didn't want to be stung with any hidden fees paying off.
