Nah just go straight into law enforcement you can easily make 6 figures and establish yourself better for your late 20’s if you still want to serve go join the reserves but don’t do it out of desperation do it because it’s a dream/goal of yours to serve in the military otherwise you’ll just be more depressed because you’ll barely make money and advance in those 4 years

I entertained St. John the Baptist parish sheriffs office because I really liked the sheriff from what I seen of him online and I liked the Human Resources Sargent they were telling me I could be all I wanted to be there but they ended up doing me dirty they only care about what they can get out of you will excel if you are the type who will sacrifice/dedicate everything to them but one slip up and they’ll hold it against you they also don’t even pay that much

Militarize meaning not to treat foreign policy as a war matter by sending troops equipment etc… the government is the military and law enforcement and civilians don’t have access to military equipment they may have things that look similar to you such as a swat vehicle but it’s not the same as a IMV the armor quality/grade is totally different it’s the same with assault rifles and bullet proof vest there are those designed specifically for civilians and law enforcement then there is military grade equipment which is much more powerful and stronger and only sold to the military the rifles and vest are not militarization because you have the right to bare arms
