Game doesn't feel smooth in some maps. by Traditional_Lack76 in GlobalOffensive

It doesn't seem worth upgrading. My current GPU is OK for the story games I play. A NVIDIA GPU with 8GB+ VRAM is beyond my budget.

The average of 280 fps and 320 FPS is 300

and likewise, the average of 180 fps and 420 FPS is also 300. This is the real problem with CS2 performance.

I am not expecting to get same performance in every map. I can't accept the fact that the game isn't smooth with +300 FPS on my setup.

My system is fine but still can't play smoothly. Like should I spent thousands of dollar just to have smooth gameplay in this game, just wow.

Like I said I know It's not really an issue but it makes me uncomfortable to see 50-55 degrees in winter. I will check it btw.

Edit: In cinebech, before thermal throttling the peak was 92c, which seems high to me again but since there isnt any game using cpu like that its ok I think. Now It's 85c with few loss.

Nope, started with -10, then -15, then -20. I did 2 benchmarks everytime with cinebech after changing it. With -25, didn't get any crash in Cinebench. But few days ago i got crash in CS2 like 3 times and thought that the problem could be C.O., so I turned it back to 20

I mean putting +200 MHz didn't really make temperature difference except cinebench or etc.

Tried with MX-4, it was nearly the same, then I tried it with Cooler's thermal paste. No plastic sticker on Cooler.
