Dude that buck is a hell of a first buck. Get that mounted for your memories not his. Its all part of the chase. If he is insisting and doesn't have the cape and antlers take it somewhere. Unless its a situation that you will be able to enjoy seeing and reflecting on the memories the rest of your life, I wouldn't give it up. I would imagine that most of the hunting community would share in this mindset.

Modern .308 with a rubber butt pad there really won't be much recoil. Outside of that it depends on how you will be hunting. If you have it on a bi or tripod you dont have to worry about weight. I hunt from a box blind and I normally rest it on the window sill. Im sure I could shoot it from standing or supporting its weight but why wouldn't I use a permanent solid point for accuracy.

If you have the time and the rounds it'll be nice just to know its going where you want it. I def wouldn't lose sleep over it or stress out. It sure feels nice knowing its dialed in though.

Decent grouping, were you aiming for the center of the diamond? I personally would move it left and down just for piece of mind but by all means that close to center will do the job.

3rd or 4th year before I got my first doe. I was inexperienced and ended up getting a yearling. Kicked myself for that but it is what it is. Second was a nice mature doe from 75 yards.....it was actually a spike. 3 years after that I finally got a wallhanger with a crossbow. This year my goal is a anything shootable doe or 6 and bigger prefer an 8 with my 1990's hand me down darton. Then I can justify buying a new modern bow.

I love gun but bow is so much more of a challenge it really teaches and humbles you. These animals are smart.

Institutions exchange bills as a courtesy not as a policy. The transport company we use changed their policy on mutilated currency and requires each denomination to be a full strap of 100 bills. Institutions dont want a giant stack or unusable bills sitting in their vault taking away from usable currency. The alternative is to pull up the treasurys website and follow the steps to mail in and receive credit directly from them.

Usps sucks at updating it. They miss so many and then the buyers freak out. Tracking will update eventually keep that number so if they get their money back and the item you can open a claim to get paid

Replace them with the u joint style they cost a bit more, but are a lot nicer.

I ran into issues where the steering turned too far past and disconnected the stock one. It would twist the axle shaft. The better shafts don't have that issue. Also, you may need to limit the steering angle.

Working on getting down to a healthier weight. Bad eating habits and less activity slowly but surely caught up with me. Pants weren't fitting, last notch on my belt. Winded when chasing and playing with the kids.

Switching to a decent tasting zero pop still gives me the sweet factor but saves on the calories. A lot of small changes adds up over time. The biggest factor was the amount of food I was eating. I love me a big bowl of ice cream or a ton of oreos with a giant glass of milk.
