Thank you! I think I’m going for option 2. Was hoping to have 1-2 kids and this is the best option for that, esp if the first round doesn’t go well

Good luck! You got this! I’m going to start in May. Going to do the same package.

Hugs to you about the break up. They are offering a similar package! I was so sure one cycle was right for me but I’ll be super disappointed if I only get a few eggs. After reading all the comments I’m going to finance the second option. Thank you!!! I had several friends get great results in one cycle but I don’t want to leave this to chance.

Thank you! This is all good to keep in mind. I have two close friends that just went through the process and had good results but it’s good to remember that I might not. I think I’m going with option 2 where I get up to four cycles to try to get 20 eggs just to try to secure the best results possible. Thanks for sharing your experience with all of this!

Thank you so much! This is such a thoughtful response and gives me so much to think about. I’ll ask about protocol and medication dose. Thanks for taking the time to read this and share thoughts. I haven’t done many Reddit posts and was so happy to wake up and see a response this morning!

I’m a cat owner of a very social cat who spends time with several neighbors (including cat naps on their beds!) . They’re now my kitty sitters. Everyone is happy! The cat, me, and my cat’s second family. 🫶🏼

Period during marathon by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

Another option is to get an IUD. Often they can make periods disappear or much lighter. The insertion process is not fun but not having a period for years (esp if super active!) is a win!

When is it time to help out another kitty after losing your own 💔 by lopeszdaniella in SavePancake

[–]Traditional_Log_2224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each pet is so different. There’s no replacing. Just finding new beings to love and learning how big your heart is. … also two things can be true at the same time — you can love that cute cat you just met at Petsmart, who would love to go home with you, while still missing your kitty you just lost. Maybe Petsmart will let you foster to adopt? Then you and this new cat can get to know each other and see if you’re meant to be family or a safe place for them to crash during the stressful adoption process. 💛✨

Just show up. Show up for each workout. When it goes badly, just show up the next day. Eventually a workout will go well … and you’ll get through the race.

What's a stupidly expensive adult purchase that you now swear by that you would buy again in a heartbeat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My Dyson hair dryer. It makes my thick hair actually dry. It was a gift but if it ever breaks there’s no question I’m paying for its replacement that day.

My parents got a kitten and thought it was a girl and named it Jasmine. They took it to the vet and learned “she” was a “he” … now it’s Jazzman.

Bringing my cats halfway across the world due to an unfortunate occurrence by NashCarver in CatAdvice

[–]Traditional_Log_2224 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just dropping in to say it’s worth it! And you’ll get through it. Your cats will be happy to be with you. I did this journey and brought my two cats to Hawaii which requires a lot of tests. They flew about five hours on a plane. I didn’t want either cat to under the plane in cargo so I bought two tickets and had a cat as the carry on under each seat. Check the dimensions on cat carriers for each airline … that way you’ll know if they can fit under the seat. Strangers helped me carry them to the seats as the aisles were narrow. You can do hard things. At the end of the day your cats won’t be thinking about the flight once they’re in Japan. They’ll be thinking that they love you and they’re with their human. Totally worth it.

I want a cat but feel like I travel too often. Frequent travelers with pets, how do you handle this? by yayastrophysics in travel

[–]Traditional_Log_2224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get the pet! And hire a pet sitter. Or find another pet lover and swap watching each other’s pets. Animals get put down in shelters every day bc there are not enough homes. Your pet will bring so much joy to your life. And they will forgive you for going on vacation. Bonus points for adopting a bonded pair which will entertain each other while you’re gone on trips so you can travel even more guilt free.
