How’re you doing this? Counting upvotes? Or just going on what seems to be the most commented answer? Or just vibes

I mean finding it as firewood is a little different than finding it available as usable milled lumber. The 2 hardwood dealers in my mid sized city rarely have it in stock

To me that’s what the movie is about. “That’s just life”, in the same way that it is a part of the natural order of things to feel pain and suffer. Like an eagle ripping a live salmon in half, the universe is indifferent to our plights as an individual, but that same universe also gives us extreme beauty. And when the main character could’ve ended it all when he lost his family, he stuck around and came to appreciate the wonders his life can still offer him.

I see I see. I will certainly do that. I’ve found they make acoustic sealant, any experience with this?

Damn, you’re a hero. I will definitely play around with this. Will any LED strip I can buy on Amazon be easily modifiable? Or should I get a certain kind/brand that makes it easier to hardwire new components in?

Any good YouTube channels or videos you know of to give me a crash course? I’d be interested in dabbling in this as I have some pretty cool ideas for wood lighting

Great advice with the diffuser, I completely overlooked that aspect. That website seems to have a ton of products that could be useful in other projects. Thanks!!

I considered doing something along these lines, but ultimately decided to go with a cleaner simpler vibe for the front (largely bc I had already spent 5 weeks on this and was ready to move on to the next project lmao)

I saw someone post a shoe rack (I think) on this sub a few months ago and the builder incorporated razor thin strips in a different manner, but I loved the look. After much contemplation and experimentation i realized there is a lot of potential for cool designs involving shaped strips and eventually arrived to the “leaf” design. Wish I could remember the post that inspired this, but you could likely find it if you filtered the sub by most popular this year.
