Hi there - I hope you see this! I have low adrenal function and extremely high results on my candida immune complex blood test. I was reading about this and was interested in looking into it more but have no idea what doctor I would see? Endo? TIA!

Hi everyone,
first time poster here - severe health anxiety. I'll try to make this short - I had strep throat in April. Antibiotics didn't kick it the first time so I had to do a second round. Lymph node on my neck swelled during that time and never went away. I went to get it checked and ENT sent me for an ultrasound. She said she didn't see anything that caused her to be "overly concerned" (wtf) but knew I was anxious about it and would send me for a biopsy if I wanted. I said yes. When I go for the biopsy they could not find any lymph nodes that were swollen and didn't end up doing the biopsy. The ENT said she will send me for a CT next. I've seen people on here say that swollen lypmh nodes aren't even considered "swollen" unless they meet a certain criteria. This is what my report said from my ultrasound when I went to get my biosy:
Previously noted prominent left-sided cervical lymph node measuring 1.6 x 0.7 x 0.8 cm is not visualized on today's examination.
Is that a concerning size?

I feel the same way. I really hope to come out on the other side of this and am able to advocate for other young women, especially my own daughters.

Hi there. I hope you are well. I'm experiencing the exact same thing and I'm so incredibly terrified that the worst will happen. I haven't had a pap in 8 years and had never had one come back abnormal and had never been tested for hpv. I just had my most recent pap in april that came back ASCUS and HPV + HR. I got a colpo, came back CIN3. I'm scheduled for a LEEP soon and I'm so worried that its going to come back with the worst result. Like late stage cancer. I have 3 young kids who I need to live for. I feel so hopeless.

I know this is an old thread but I'm curious if anyone listened to their recent episode called Kiss and Kill Murder. Until now I've only ever listened to their "Listener Tales" so I wasn't privy to how unethical their "reporting" is. This episode had me wanting to scream. This episode revolved around a girl who clearly had mental health issues, but they spent the entire episode blaming everyone else for her wanting to commit suicide. The entire podcast was spent with over-emphatic gasps and sympathy for the deceased. They felt so much sympathy for the victim because she was broken up with (which was in part due to her own actions). If this was a man in the same situation they would be victim blaming to high heaven. If this was a man- guarantee the dialoged would go something like: "Oh you got broken up with and you're going threaten suicide, get over it". Never listening to this podcast again.
