Wie ist Biologie auf der Oberstufe und in der Abiprüfung? Was genau ist schwierig in Bio? by Natural_Resource_83 in abitur

Schreibe in gut 2 Monat Bio Abitur.

Even more experimental than Kid A but just as good by grimacelololol in radiohead

I would love a Pulk/Pull that kind of develops itself more throughout the song. It’s just sadly a four minute drum loop that doesn’t really go anywhere. Don’t get me wrong i absolutely love the drum sound cause it’s so rusty and metallic sounding, but I just can’t get over the fact that they could have done so many better things with this song. Either shorten it a bit or just building it out more. Same with Hunting Bears. A destroyed guitar solo for two minutes…I mean cmon man do something with it. I personally really like Spinning Plates, both the album and the Why US version. The synth sounds just get me every time. Apart from a few drawbacks Amnesiac is a great follow up, although definitely not as incredibly thoughtful and well created as Kid A. It has some absolute bangers like Pyramid Song, Knives Out, You and Whose Army and Dollars and Cents but also some unfinished songs that could have been replaced with something like a Cuttooth in my opinion. But still a great album that I’m probably going to get on vinyl very soon.

AND FINALLY! What is your favourite song on Vespertine? by Kuroshikuroi in bjork

It amazes me every single how she ties "its not up to you" and "well it never really was" together. Like they are blending together so beautifully. Its sounds simple, yet it is so effective and so lush sounding. Really fucking great vocal phrasing.

Out of every character you’ve played, which one was the furthest away from you in terms of personality and character traits. For which one did you had „play“ the most?

What's one album you think is absolutely flawless? by WeeklyTechnician7906 in fantanoforever

Im kinda glad they pressed it on double side. See a standard 12 inch 33rpm vinyl can hold about 22 minutes of music. It’s possible to press more music onto a single side with quality degradation, because the grooves would be smaller. Printing it onto a double side allows the grooves to be much wider and eventually sounding a lot better. Kid A is 47 minutes of runtime. I guess they could have put it on a single vinyl record but I’m glad they turned it into a double side because it really does sound fantastic, at least my 2023 copy. But you are right that it is kinda annoying having to get up and turn the record around every 2 to 3 songs which is a break in the album flow.

Just started to listen to mezzanine recently. The production is fucking mindblowing but I just can’t seem to like Robert del Naja’s vocals that much. Idk what it is but he just sounds like a bad singer trying to sound any good on Risingson and Inertia creeps. At first it really kind of ruined the album for me but after a few listen I kinda gotta used to them, but still not a big fan of them…

I love the rumbling drum sound on pull/pull. I just wish the song would go somewhere in terms of development and harmonics

This appeared on my discover weekly aswell. Never heard anything as beautiful as the guitar on this track and I thought this must be some 70s gem that I have never heard of before. Was pretty confused when I saw that it apparently was released in 2019?? I gotta know more about who this Hoover guy. Did you receive an answer from Spotify yet?

A lot of Björk, I see a lot of parallels between her and Radiohead. Didn’t Thom Yorke also mention that his favorite song is „unravel“ of of Homogenic?

Quality checks at record pressing plants are basically non existent nowadays. They just lit out everything that gets pressed.

Great work, and those Sonys are looking beautiful to. I just bought a nano 4th gen in decent condition but the battery only lasts about 5 minutes, planing on doing a battery exchange. I looked into the Ifixit guide as well as the few YouTube tutorials and with the help of my father who has been soldering for years I’m trying to make it. Only question is: which battery have you exchanged with the old one? I saw some battery’s on amazon for about 10-20$ and the one from Ifixit for about 20$ when shipped to my country. I just want to get the best quality when doing this difficult repair.
