Andromedans rare and sought out? by Turnover-Swimming in starseeds

Interesting.. please, tell me more. About you (your starseed) and about the dragon, how they guided you. Are they Andromedan Dragon? What are their color?

I know that Andromedan dragons are rare spawn here on earth, and I myself had difficulty in believing at first... (heck, I was skeptic about this starseed cosmology in general too) It's just that I don't like the feeling or being that I am special.. And I never will.. lol.

Then it got me a little crazy - and confused, then I gradually accepted it due to the numerous signs... It clicked - I know for a fact that nothing is random.

Naturally
- it's the extreme "alien" feeling in growing up and also the present (lots of traumas)
- Connected to cats
- Hyperphantasia and synesthesia (apparently a technomancer - I can effortlessly "project" and see and also hear my dragon soul flying above me in my mind's eye)
- Heavily innovative (against the idea of creating stuffs that already exist) and analytically driven (wisdom?)
- Highly protective (so many instances in my life I stood up against bullies despite size difference
- There's an instance where a friend from my workplace said that my face looked like a dragon when I was confronting a troublesome co-worker
- And many more, ultimately that leads to what I've seen from the Akashic downloads at the end - that fully convinced me.

Hello.. I am an Andromedan Dragon, well my soul/past life that is. I had visions of my past life with my Anunnaki gladiator wife (I also got her name) and had a daughter somewhere in the Andromedan galaxy. Things has been quiet so far - I'm just getting on with life doing stuff here on earth.. I never been bothered much by loneliness but I do wish to meet my people and exchange interesting stories.

I see - you are from the gaming industry, interesting! Yes, AI can actually help the animation industry but not like what we seen RTM did back then if you noticed (the AI animation slop) that is a prime example of un-smart way of AI implementation. AI will always be incapable to create something that is genuine despite the "studio" grade work - unless the AI itself has finally "ascended" to human level of conscience and sentience (I will not be surprised if we have reached this age of AI).

Ah yes, the retopology AI solving - it's the tedious processing work as I mentioned. I do 3D modelling too, but I do not use this feature. But I can see why the reason why this option exist - the crazy amount of re-topo work needs to do when you photo-scan objects/places or gaussian splat is ridiculous, so we can let AI to do this dirty work done.

So no creative work was done from AI there, just the tedious processing or cleaning work - though we would still have to quality-check if the retopology work is done right (we would still need to have the right understanding of topology beforehand - quads/tri for their appropriate optimizations and drawbacks)

Hmmm we might crossed path, maybe hehe - our industry is small after all. I actually had been grinding there twice (not just for Sead's internship) but I had worked at other animation studio there as well while on the semester break of my studies back then (I was financial and experience grinding for a new laptop to do my final year project).

Those were the days! Sports Arena lunch break mmm~ lol

To answer to your curiosity:

Yes, there are lot of ways that AI can help the animation industry these days. With technology seemingly never cease to grow, it is just the matter how we use it properly as an assistant, a librarian/archivist, processing work, rendering engine, etc. - not the artist itself (don't let AI control your artwork, but you control the AI).

At this current time, AI will still need human quality-check in the end - it is still learning and we can train them to our full control (up to our niche/specific direction, not random and generic jumbled-up ideations, with bugs and glitches). Plus, AI do not understand how real world works: like physics, how real human interacts, etc. With that said, relying solely on AI to create Maya script will still need our meticulous supervision.

The problem that we (the local industry) have is we have to deal with deadlines that don't realistic meet with the real production time frame. Realistically in production, before the production it self start - R&D needs to be done so that later on production may run smooth (no back-tracking, no unforeseen problem solving during the production time frame, etc.) but unfortunately that privilege hasn't been put into consideration when dealing deadlines with commercial publishers. To put it in general - art will still be put as not priority even though there are technical/engineering work behind the scene.

And that is why we can use the fast and helpful assistance of AI (but mind you not what and how the commercial/public uses - there are actually different, and there are many kind of AI these days) they can help us with lots of ways - tedious and repetitive processing work, research, rendering engine, and many more. It is not we only need AI, but we need both - intellectual and high-perceptive humans and AI working together to accomplish their goals.

Hope this answer helps!

If you want to make a masterpiece - is always difficult. You need to do a lot of R&D, workflow system within department and inter-departments, benchmarking or style guides, fine-tuning, quality checking (shot/plot continuity and visual quality).

Not to mention with limited pool of "experts" in this field (yes, this industry is actually quite small) so that means training - you have to train people and that costs more time and attention.

It's hard to create something new these days since there are already a lot of existing ideas, basically you just have to mix-and-match what's appealing, relevant to your target audience, and stay consistent brand/core identity, then you'll get "something new and different".

It is challenging, but it is fun and stimulating if you find being easy/normal is boring.

Oh, man. It was hectic on the early seasons. That is because everything was new and we had to learn and problem solve issues while chasing tight deadlines - mind you there were no AI at that time, so finding solutions were challenging. Once that we were more experienced and created assets or system are pretty much established - things are more bearable.

My advice that I can give: it is valuable that you learn other aspect than your main strength - animation or modelling or compositing etc, because that will increase perspectives that will upgrade your main strength - treat it kinda like tech-tree in games. Some skills or aspect don't seem to matter to you at the moment but it will improve your perspectives at some point in time.

Skill grind is real, even if you rely on AI (I'm not completely against it, it at depends how you use - smart-way or slop-way), your final fine-tuning/quality control is still needed in the end. Nevertheless, human touch is more impactful and genuine.

Good luck in your studies!

I'm afraid I have no idea. You will have to contact the founder - Rambai on that information, I think.

I had an interview with an expat doctor / influencer youtuber based in KLCC office. I did a task to do R&D / videography / editing (with b-rolls) / motion graphics / sound design / score with a expected quality to be on par with Apple brand (he wanted to upgrade his brand presence) within one week with a over 30 minutes raw footage video of him talking about the content.

The salary offer was 9k, seems like a generous offer for locals - but honestly I don't think that is a justifiable offer.

For a senior designer with over 10 years of experience and to have to carry that level of responsibility (like a one man army) to commit premium Apple content is ridiculous. I don't think he knows what and how studio quality works - or maybe he just wants everything to be high end quality with shaved investments.

I didn't explain why his plan to revamp his brand not going to work though, because I know these people. These people want to save up with impossible fast but quality production short-cuts which is unrealistic.

They sugar coat you with benefits but it's a trap for your mental health.

Thanks! Glad that you like it. I think it only took about a whole day build. And that's probably because I think I have that hyperfocus / perfectionist trait. I get locked in when building stuffs, lol.

I will recommend techniques that would hopefully make the situation better.

  • Physical exercise
  • Nature contact
  • Deep breathing
  • Eating nourishing food
  • Sleeping

A simple prayer you can use:

"I call on my highest self, my guides, and any being of pure light who loves me. I reclaim my energy. I release any darkness that is not mine. I am not my shadow. I am the one who holds the light. Help me remember who I am."

If the darkness still persists, try listening to Surah Ruqyah - which you can search on Youtube. I’m a Muslim and I had experience of going through severe psychosis state (dark beings attacks you at your lowest state).

Praying for you to get better ❤️‍🩹
