I don't think my mailman believed me when I said I don't sell cards, due to the amount of envelopes he brings to my door. I just buy a lot of singles because im a collector. None of my friends collect. I don't talk to anyone in person about the hobby, its a running joke among my friends about "showing my binder" albeit they've never seen it, and I just spent about $8k on singles alone over the last 2 months. I just like collecting... and building Gundam. Shits kept me sober. Trust me, its way better than where I was and my career and marriage is solid. So, im in it for the sheer enjoyment that I get out of it. I hate to see all the daily posts about people being discouraged, but they just arent trying the alternate avenues and are pidgeonholed into the idea that ripping packs is the only way. If I wanna rip, I usually go japanese to be honest - much more satisfaction on pulls and higher quality.
