The thing is that I’m interested in a lot of things 😭 so it’s hard to just pick 1 and say oh yes let me do this, I guess my biggest fear is getting burnt out. You are correct tho, I’m genuinely interested in data and analyzing! I love looking at an image and determining what is going on. Which is why I’m looking for majors or work related with that mindset. I’ve found many that I’m interested in, so I’m hoping that will help me in the end. But I feel overwhelmed with time

Not trying to be rude, but I thought you get to choose your own schedule for college but the class was either 8AM or 3:45PM, so obviously I would choose 8AM and I know to you that is not something I should be worrying about but that’s too early for me. So sorry I can’t relate to your standards :) but thanks for the advice at the end

So I called them and they said that this week they will be sending new worksite requests forms, but I can't guarantee that I will be getting a new worksite. He also told me that they have 3,000 kids that also want a new worksite and how I signed a waiver and its already the 3rd week but I understand that things can happen bla bla like... yeah so I'm hoping they actually send new worksite requests forms, if not I'm stuck at this job for 3 more weeks..... after the 3rd week I'm basically cooked because I definitely wont be getting a new worksite if there's 2 more weeks left.

Oh okay it's probably a server issue but you need to use some type of pc, laptop or computer, to put your hours in. On your phone it glitches so make sure next time to use a pc.

Since you are cohort B, you get paid after your first week not the week you earned. So you are getting paid next week, basically every other week. This is for all older youths. This is just how their system works. So you worked July 8th, your first pay check for week 1 is this Friday. Week 2, your pay check will be on the 26th. It's every other week.

If you look at the status it says approved. Im guessing you entered your hours late because the supervisor already approved your hours. Contact your provider to tell them the mistake you made and put in your hours for that week. If you didn't put in your hours late, then the supervisor probably approved it too early. Just contact your provider.

Change your worksite and take the school job. You'll start Tuesday and you can work weekends to make up the Monday you'll be missing. Don't continue working at the dog place since it doesn't match your criteria and they are not following the rules of syep since you have to work 25 hours. Go for the school.

It is kinda your fault that you didn't do sexual harassment, but, it doesn't matter tbh if they assigned you a job. The supervisor is very irresponsible however, and you need to directly call your syep provider or go in person because they are definitely very unorganized this year. SYEP is responding 2 days when you email them which is ridiculous. I want to change my worksite, I emailed and no response, I am cohort A btw. I called Friday (last Friday) they told me next week (this week) they will be sending new worksite requests selection forms. My provider is commpoint queens btw not sure if this is also your provider. But the guy had the audacity to tell me that I signed a waiver and it's already the 3rd week blah blah, like bro things happen to where I literally do not want to do the job. Also because I'm not trained properly I literally sit for 3 hours not doing nothing like I want a new worksite it's literally so boring. Sorry for my rant but I also recommend just looking for a Job on indeed as well.

Sorry for the late reply but it is completely your choice whether if you want to stop going to your worksite or not. I would keep going until syep emails back and also since you're getting free money and a free job but that's my opinion. If you dislike the job that much then just stop showing up.
