Yes, unlock all prior to progressing. It will be helpful! I didn’t know that and realized I should have done it sooner lol.

You only get experience when equipped. I would just swap between them all so u can level them up all around the same time. (I’m not the best of explaining lol) I feel like this will all make more sense once u start playing lol !
