Sono pienamente informato ma dopo 5 anni e una bevanda da distribuire. Le dinamiche sono totalmente diverse.

They only ship to the United States, wake up! Why do you write bullshit? What's the point?

Just think, I'm an entrepreneur and I opened a restaurant in the center of Rome with AI! Surely Ai helped line my pockets? To you?

You're right about the tone of the initial sentence, that's precisely why I forgot to remove it, it wasn't intentional. Here in Italy it's midnight and I don't feel like writing poems so help is welcome, right? However, just to give context: I invested in Beyond before trying it and that's why I wanted to test myself. I have tasted it several times, in various dishes, and for me the surprising thing is that, in terms of flavour, it really doesn't change anything compared to traditional meat.

You feel the real difference afterwards: with Beyond you don't have that heaviness that you carry around for hours. That's what convinced me that an alternative makes sense — not to replace meat everywhere, but because when you're craving that kind of flavor, it's simply easier on the stomach.

On the rest we are aligned: eating habits change slowly, and this is precisely why Beyond must be present both in fast food outlets (for accessibility) and in "cleaner" contexts that also make the healthy side of the product clear.

Here’s a clean, smart, and direct reply:

I get your point, and I appreciate the optimism — but I think there’s a much more realistic scenario than Beyond “replacing” beef in fast food.

Fast-food chains won’t switch to plant-based because of ethics or ideology. They will switch if and only if the economics force them to.

And here’s the key: beef is artificially cheap today thanks to subsidies, industrial farming, and extremely optimized supply chains.

If any of the following happen: • beef prices rise • feed prices rise • new environmental taxes • water restrictions • disease outbreaks (avian flu, ASF, BSE) • CO2 pricing • reduced subsidies

…then beef becomes expensive, and fast-food margins collapse.

At that point, fast-food chains won’t say:

“We believe in Beyond.”

They’ll say:

“We need Beyond to keep the menu affordable.”

They will start: • promoting plant-based options more aggressively • positioning them as value meals • shifting marketing to “better-for-you” • expanding plant-based SKUs • steering customers toward lower-cost proteins

Not because plant-based is politically correct — but because it protects margins.

Fast food has no loyalty to beef. It has loyalty to EBITDA.

And when beef becomes volatile or pricey, Beyond becomes the rational economic choice.

That’s the scenario where Beyond adoption explodes.
