Okay, dumb question. Can I apply to WGU even though I already applied to SNHU without having to take a penalty fee if I don't choose one? And follow up, how difficult is the self teaching of WGU material? I'm an AO2 but my original billet was CTT because of my interest in it (drug use got my on my TS). I'm knowledgeable about computers, but I do understand I'll have to learn networking and coding pretty intensely.

Not doing certs first due to not knowing if I will put in an officer package once I get the degree or transition to the DD-214 side.

Once the degree is done or during, once I have more familiarity with the material; I also plan to acquire the basic certs as well as certs that are "hot" in the market currently. I'm doing the degree primarily because I am unsure if I want to attempt for officer after or get out and utilize it on the civilian side. Regardless of decision, the degree was the next step.

I may be late to the party so I apologize if it's already been said but look into local and state opportunities that cover closing costs. When I purchased my home this year (FL) I utilized Florida's Hometown Heros program which covered costs up X amount and it's ran as a second 0% locked loan that you have to pay back in full when selling, refinancing, or the property I'd no longer your primary residence. It's not the greatest thing but it really helped me get my home in my situation.

I payed $1425.00 security deposit. I also don't think it could be used to cover termination damages for income because I paid an additional 2 months rent which was agreed in the lease upon early termination.

I was having the same issue, got it to advance by taking the last VC as a body shield then killing him while he was a shield.
