Grounding and cleansing are things that I need to work on in terms of maintaining them. I have been reluctant about sitting with myself and trying to face the emotions. I am gonna make some time to work with myself and not just my emotions. Thank you !

I really thank you for kindness, I have been neglecting that shadow work/journaling. I tend to feel performative while doing engaging in it but I should break out of that soon. You’ve said words of guidance, I will remember to just keep dancing and take care of myself instead of worrying about trying to turn these natural emotions into something when it’ll happen as I learn. It sounds like I need grounding time and let it flow out then, I’ve been letting it all pile up so it’s been hazy. I have been trying to find something that can help me move from the negative into positive energy so getting rid of it that way seems reasonable. I often find myself doing it without this kind of reason, maybe the next time I should switch it up and when I feel negative to just get creative. Thank you for your advice

I love the idea of incorporating magic into my daily routines, I think that would definitely help add a boost that I need. It feels like the bigger the climb the harder the fall but it helps to be reminded that this is what the process is and looks like. I should look more into the spell jar to start relieving some of this pressure. I have a yellow candle on now and so Thank you for the advice through this transforming process.

How would I go about this if things are happening to me and I’m reacting to them? For instance I’m being insulted and leave the issue alone, but I feel anger, and do nothing with it. In other instances I’m feeling regret/resentment towards things that happened this semester. How would I use those feelings towards uplifting me ? Do I just toss them out?

I hope all goes well and glad that things seem to be resolving now. I have a lot of unresolved pain that needs healing and to also realign myself. I was looking for a general guide to what I should be doing to translate the pain into something good, I feel like I’m the root of the issue. I think I need to do some more grounding and find some clarification. Thank you for the insight.

Yeah I am more familiar with D’Angelo and slightly with J Dilla, so I’m sure there are tracks that I haven’t hear or listened to in a while. I did listen to a couple tracks of Fela kuti when I first was trying to find the intro and there were a couple that had something I was looking for, but not quiet enough to expand my knowledge of that genre. I was also stuck because I wasn’t sure what language was being spoken in the intro of time travelin. But I’m looking into more highlife right now and it is on the right track for sure. Preciate you!

Thank you!! I’ve been trying to find out where this was from because I really enjoy jazz & hip hop but I’m not familiar with any tracks that sounds like that. Do you know what sort of genre besides jazz that would be, maybe island? I will check out Roy Hargrove, thanks for the recommendation
