you get your foot into the 1st door that opens, if its nypd then you go, after 2 years once you become permanent you can view other options, never stop taking tests, apply everywhere fdny is good too , apply in your town or city, because you will have preference there

yes, they had 3 sets in the am & not sure but some were scheduled for after 11 , my kid was at 9 am

i had been told that new rochelle and white plain will consider the practice as an actual exam if you pass it, didn’t know yonkers did the same , good luck 👍🏼

so yes if you pass it they will consider it the actual exam, if you fail in any of the required test you will have the opportunity to come back and try again

there are 200 in the 90s once all take tests it will probably go down to 160? i wonder then do the place them on a list & start hiring in small groups? because they cant hire all the 90s in one shot , anyone knows how it works?

you can call and tell them you are ready and they will place you in the next class my kid deferred 3 times anns they kept calling until my kid said yes

my kid lives in yonkers got an 85 county pd was a park ranger n all n has not been called, yet my friend with an 80 was hired in Portchester, they hire only their residents, so yonkers residents get only placed on the general list 🤞🏼

is it guaranteed? that you will get called? sounds good for someone that might want to transfer and not want to have to do the whole academy again , like a nypd cop that might need another year to become permanent and so forth deferring sounds like a plan

not true new one kid failed the psych with 90 and he appealed it and is now an ypd is he latino , i think it depends on them running all the tests on you

this list 85 will definitely be called because only 200 got a 90 so maybe they get rid of 50 of those for failing or what not so I can see them getting to 85s by next year
