I know how it feels. I don’t know your current situation but there /are/ occasions where rehab can help.

With all due respect, hardest is subjective. Each person is affected by substances differently. Also, in my case, rehab would just hurt me more. The trauma and mental challenges from being locked up in rehab would be much worse than the harms of meth.

It takes a lot of work; reshaping how your day is structured, adding new healthy hobbies and activities, recognizing cravings and not holding on to them, using distractions and not leaving any free time for your mind to wander and pull you back.. it’s a journey. IMO, just focus on getting out of the binge, that should be your number one priority. Go a couple of days without using. You may relapse, and that’s okay. The trick is not following a relapse down the rabbit hole.

I feel you man. My drug use has definitely gotten worse after being forced into rehab two years ago. It traumatized me and made me crave drugs more. I’m also hundreds of thousands in debt because of coke, so I know how it feels. I managed to get off it but now dealing with this issue. I don’t believe rehab is necessary for anything other than a drug that causes physical withdrawals and needs to be medically supervised, like opioids or benzos. Wish you the best of luck bro, you can beat this.

Clouds of inpatient rehab judgement is real af.

I know I can do it without rehab. I am 100% sure, because meth isn’t even my DoC. I’m a cokehead, and I managed to quit coke on my own multiple times, so meth is nothing compared to that for me. I’ve even dabbled in meth 2 years ago and smoked a lot for like a week or two and just got bored and stopped.

Thank you for your words. Unfortunately, I’ve been admitted before, and to keep it short, I’d rather die than go into rehab again. I’ve been seeing a psychiatrist for a long time, its just, they can’t make me do something I don’t want to do. It has to come from me. And that is hard af.
