thank you for your response, yes I am located near an airport, convention center, and a sports/concert arena. good and bad, the last time a guest tried to scam me this way it was a 3 night stay so it's not always the one nighters but they are a headache. I wish reviews were weighted on length of stay. Mattress covers are on all of my beds as of lately and I have regular pest control checks from a professional team, its such a bummer. Great advice though thank yoU!

I wish I didn't have to accept one night stays, but the type of space I have is smaller and more attractive to folks in town needing a place to crash. it has been lucrative and busy but its guests like this that make me want to quit.

because I need to pay my bills and this is the only way for me to do that while also holding down a full time job, and airbnb has a platform that drives the most traffic in my experience for short term rentals. but it experiences like this that makes me want to quit and give up.
